Select users may have the ability to upload larger file sizes.</div><p>In addition to text messages, users can upload file attachments in Discord to send to others. If you have Nitro, you can upload <a href=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000435108\"><span class=\"wysiwyg-underline\">even bigger files</span></a>. For non-Nitro subscribers, the maximum file upload is 10MB. </p><p>There is a wide variety of file types that can be uploaded to Discord. Select the file(s) that you want to attach from your device. You can also write a message to send along with it. </p><p>3. Tap on the <strong>cogwheel </strong>[<img src=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/article_attachments/33302150273047\" width=\"23\" height=\"24\">] in the bottom-left corner of the app.</p><p>2. Many desktop/browser settings are also available on mobile, but here are the mobile-only settings:</p><ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e25844339a32acd5e9dba1c1e108d5d07\">\n<strong>Save to Device: </strong>If you directly send an image or video through your mobile device, the file will be automatically saved to your phone.</li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e89999b6fd1c4f8bf0a23b22d2d868c51\">\n<strong>Video Uploads: </strong>In this section, you can manage the quality of videos you upload through Discord. By selecting the \"Data Saver\" option, your videos will upload more quickly and consume less data.</li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ebfc732f6b8b184d8288bfd19f43c446e\">\n<strong>Data Saving Mode: </strong>If enabled, images and videos will be sent in lower quality through your cellular network to use less data.</li>\n</ul><p class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\"><img src=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/article_attachments/33302182062231\" width=\"430\" height=\"863\"></p><h4 class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\" id=\"h_01JZJZM3A3C44VEMTMZH7JX2C3\"><span style=\"color: #666666;\"><span data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\"><strong>Chat</strong></span><span data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\"> settings for mobile</span></span></h4><h1 id=\"h_01JZJZM3A3TQJDKRC09WKTH4R2\">What is NSFW Content Scanning?</h1><p>\"<strong>NSFW</strong>\" or Not Safe For Work (or not suitable for work) is a term to describe inappropriate content that you would not want to look at while in the workplace and is now more widely used to describe content that could be seen as inappropriate for the public.</p><p>To help keep users safe, we have both User Settings and Server Settings to scan images for NSFW content. Once you attach the image(s) you want to upload, tap on the Modify attachment option or the <strong>pencil</strong> icon [<img src=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/article_attachments/33302150286231\" width=\"23\" height=\"23\">] that appears after hovering your cursor over each file.</p><p class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\"><img src=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/article_attachments/33302182069399\" width=\"307\" height=\"272\"></p><h4 class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\" id=\"h_01JZJZM3A31G6PP1RB8KNJGKH7\"><span style=\"color: #666666;\"><span data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\"><strong>Modify Attachmen</strong></span><span data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\"><strong>t</strong> option</span></span></h4><p>2. You can change the name of the file and add in the ALT text to describe the image. You can now send your image(s) with the alt text you’ve written. </p><p>4. If you have the <strong>With image descriptions </strong>setting enabled and if an image has ALT text, you should see the word <strong>ALT</strong> on the image.
