Let’s go over those cases and what to do if you’re experiencing those specific errors.</p>\n<p>Before you begin the process of adding a phone number, please make sure you have access to that number and your mobile device.</p>\n<h1 id=\"h_01J9A421C6G29J7JMK198AZH87\">Phone is Already Registered</h1>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\"><img src=\"https://support.discord.com/hc/article_attachments/26823326690967\" width=\"495\" height=\"405\"></p>\n<p>A phone can only be registered with one Discord account at a time. If you are encountering an error that states <strong>This phone number is unable to be associated with this account</strong>, this is because the phone number is already tied to another account.
