There is no way to return from the user settings at the minimum screen size other than the ESC key.

What do you mean? When I use the smallest scale it works fine, and when I make the app as small as it will let me it also still works fine. Can you provide a version and some more details?

After setting the window size to the minimum, try opening the User Preferences.

X:ESC is not where it should be and you need to enlarge the window or press ESC to go back.

is it this hard to make discord bigger?

Yes, it is difficult in my environment and not a fundamental solution.

It is not good accessibility to be able to reduce the window to a size where functionality is lost.

My client doesn't go that small for some reason, I can only get it to disappear when the screen size is the smallest and the scale is 150%

I just tried it and the problem with X:ESC is that

When a profile is selected, only 1/10 of it is visible.

When My Account is selected, X:ESC itself is not visible.

When other tabs are selected, there is space for X:ESC and it is clickable.
