RECOVERING DELETED DISCORD SERVERS + BOTS FOR BACKUPS
Let's say you and a friend get into a fight.
You're a co-owner, they're the full owner, meaning they have total control over the deletion of the server even if it's AGAINST your favor.
For example, you and your friend get into a bingus fight. They get pissed at you, and delete the server, it was merely a private server and it was on their account, just the two of you really, maybe more like a group-chat, or a legitimate clan. You got into this argument and they unfriend you on all of your gaming accounts, discord itself, and wherever else they could.
The server had over 200,000 messages, an indescribable morgue of memories being taken away from you just because of one person that decides that completely on their own. You've known them for around almost 4 years now and although you may not have their email -- you'd be much happier knowing that there'd be a way that would prevent the server from being completely deleted.
#1. Discord should have a few things to make up for this: as a part of their retention deletion periods, a 30-45 day pre-delete before certain information and/or data is completely gone.
#2. A bot (unlike Xenon and its premium cost) that actually saves the entire server as it originally was last before it's ultimate destruction.
*Think of it as Google Docs, where it automatically saves everything as you go along and type and saves it into this drive/cloud.*
#3. A voting process sort of like in video games like MOBAS, and FPS games that gives a countess on whether or not a server should be deleted or not.
*Same should go for any groupchats as well with all honesty.
Because other than that people would just go on sprees out of pure bias and rage, hackers would ruin the original templates of servers, absolutely everything with no going back.
You'll have NO idea just how much you'll regret not having a backup of all of those memories -- the GOOD and the BAD. Afterall, it is what makes the world go round...even if it's with someone you hate (;
