Being able to use discord without phone number

I wish there was a way for people to choose whether or not they want to use phone number in their account I tried getting back into my discord account after taking it off my iPad and had to add a phone number to my account but I don’t have a phone

  ummm u dont need a phone number, if so just set it up on a pc
