Notifications settings complecated and broken

Discord notifications are the most confusing and broken of any piece of software I have ever used. I literally set:: 1. Mobile Push Notifications: off 2. Notification settings: nothing 3. Suppress @everyone and @here 4. Suppress all Role @Mentions 5. Mute #announcements: forever 6. Mute server: until i turn it back on 7. In-app notifications: Off 8. Hide muted channels And i still have unread indicators! This is absolutely absurd. Ill even go to the channels to clear the notifications and then when i tap away they pop back up. I understand i haven't actually scrolled to the message but having it fake-disappear is such a wierd behavior. And then if I log out to use a second account (like it's 2004) it wipes all my settings i spent 20 min messing with.
