Unable to crop avatar images on Discord Mobile.

Haven't been able to crop the avatar images on discord, neither of the ways of submitting images works (gallery, archives and Drive), usually uploading through Drive pops up the cropping screen a little but then it crashes and gives the same error code.

"Unable to open file: Bad activity result code: 96, for request code: 800."

My phone is an Samsung A10S, I'm on Android 10.

    Also having this issue on an essential ph-1 running android 10. Same error codes.

    I have also been experiencing this issue for several months now. this is extremely frustrating!!!
    I have a moto g stylus 2020 running android 11,
    but the issue was also present when I had android 10.

    The problem went away with my phone updating to Android 11 today, although it still feels shameful that a lot of people continue of this issue for MONTHS, this shouldn't been past a week before fixing.

    I had this problem also today, it seems it stopped once I reseted the application permissions.
    Try to reset Discord's file permissions and see if it helps.
    I tested this and it worked on Android 11.

    I have been experiencing this issue for months now, it started when they updated the client UI in Mobile and I cant even crop images from the app until it doesnt even want me to change in general. Please fix it now!!!

    same, and even now I can't even change it. Discord really needs to get on their feet about this since its been happening for 6 months.

    I've had this problem for a few months now, but mine was recently fixed. Since the user profiles update on the Discord mobile app, it has been working fine.
