What is "Temporary Authorization" at my transactions?
I just activated my Epic Games free 3 months promocodes, but I just found I that I paid 0.99 Dollar for Temporary Authorization. What is this?

This is just a method of discord to limit who can use double customer in order to benefit from a lot of 3 month nitro game accounts and avoid users activating it without having the means to pay nitro at the normal price once the offer is over

I have this here since day 17 of June, always saying "PENDING", nothing much, no changes, do someone know something about it? I activated my 3 months free of epic games promotion on day 11 of June. Am I going to be charged?

The 3 month nitro is a commercial method to entice users to buy nitro with a free trial not a free offer for whoever wants .
As proof for a free offer, do you really think that Discord would ask for a credit card ?

Got the same notification just now, a few hours after I signed in on a different account on browser. My Bank managed to block the charge, so I guess that was lucky.

I had to pay 3x9.99$ just after having activated the epic games promotion.
6x9.99$ are pending + 1x99.99$
Just remove your payment information immediately as they have a bug linked to this promotion or a virus is running that is stealing unwanted gifts from you.0 -

I was just like you, I received a refund notice of $0.99 and immediately after that I lost $1 :/

Discord charging you 0.99$ to check that your payment method is fake or not but don't worry i recently called the bank and they said that payment got reversed soo i was not charged that 99 cents , first contact your bank and ask about it, if discord haven't refunded to your bank account just simply submit a ticket regarding the refund ..

the same happened to me just now, i saw that discord had charged me twice but i got the money back instantly, really weird...

Now i need to make a new card, cause my bank now decline every transaction without second authentication because it thinks that this is "unusual purchase request" and "possible fraud". Don't know really are my EGS free 3 month nitro sub is an issue, but it started right after that.
