New username system is awful and does the opposite of what it claims to help with.

This is awful, the new username system claims that it helps people to find friends easier, it does not. now i have to find my friend moist but his name isnt moist because someone already took the username. All youre doing with this change is taking away each individuals uniqueness on a platform that had huge support from its fanbase BECAUSE OF ITS UNIQUENESS. Its a waste of time, resources, money, and just plain useless also a backhand to the people who helped make this application what it is today.

Ill be revoking my nitro. and i hope many others do too.

    They for some reason reverted back to something that was supposed to stay in the past. Instead of having the very simple name discriminators after the name, now only one person with a name can exist. That's unrealistic. It was much better before than what we have now. People even LOST their usernames because they were taken by someone else before they could change them. This is BS. I hope more people unsubscribe their nitro. I personally will definitely not support discord if they can't respect their users.

    For me I have beef with impersonaters and namesnipers that intentionally steal your name out from under your nose.
