What's the point of the pronouns section if it isn't visible?

Was hoping to use the pronouns section of the bio customisation as a kind of permanent status thing but I just found out that they aren't even visible to other users looking at your account. What's the point of even having it as an option to fill out?

    Weltin  I'm wondering the same thing, honestly.  We already have an "About Me" section in the user profiles, we didn't need an extra box taking up space for something people could already list in the aforementioned section.  Another useless and unnecessary change from Discord right after the god awful username update.

    To the OP:  I'm not sure why you're (or someone else is) not able to see them.  They're definitely visible, I just went through the member list of a server I'm part of and many users had filled in the pronoun box, and they're showing up under the new username which means they ARE visible to other people.  You might be experiencing a bug, or perhaps the feature isn't fully rolled out to you yet?  Unless Discord is cracking down on people misusing the box and hiding it if what's entered doesn't match the pronoun/pronoun format.  Who knows?
