Premium Subscriptions, How Do I Actually Use The Role Feature/Channel Features?

I run a server, and I’m so tired of my non-premium users having to deal with cluttered premium servers in their face 24/7, no matter what we do we can’t seem to hide the servers. Discord answered this question awhile ago, but even this answer does not help one bit. 

Q: Is it possible to hide Server Subscription channels from regular members? For example, if I don't want premium inaccessible channels "clogging" up the overall channel list view for those who are not subscribers?

A: No, you can’t hide inaccessible channels at this time. You can order your channels so that premium channels are lower than the free channels. Another option is to create a channel and add the tier role via channel settings (can view, chat etc.), NOT via Server Subscriptions settings. This is similar to how people have hidden channels on their server today.

Their answer states that we just give the premium role access ro said servers but not actually add rhe channel to the tier benefit. Yeah, I tried this, you can’t give a role via subscription without any channels for said role added in.

I’m also so confused on why not ALL roles are available to select. On mobile, only channels to be added are selectable, on desktop, it says “add roles” but it only selects like 3 roles or 6 randomized ones out of alllll the other roles in the server.

I am so beyond lost and would love a setup guide that ISNT the discord one, because that one does not make any sense.
