My account was compromised and the hacker bought nitro to gift but i managed to change passwords before any further issues. 

I contacted discord for a refund. followed everything their team said, change passwords, 2FA etc. 

After that, radio silence. I have not recieved my money back or any further communication.

So, I raise a transaction dispute and Discord disables my account. 

Nobody gave me a timeline on how long an investigation takes, and nobody responds. So, is Discord holding my account hostage until i cancel the dispute? 

Is this normal? Shall I just consider that account lost?

    If you don't cancel the dispute they'll delete your account and make it so yout payment information can't be used again on discord

    Yeah but I have raised a ticket and they don't respond. I started this before the transaction dispute

    You're basically a hostage until they feel like resolving your issue, yes.
