Forum Tag Management

Because tags are really important for building a great archive of past conversations/discussions in forum channels, it is unfortunate when members forget to add relevant tags that can make finding the threads easier weeks, months, and years later. That being said, shouldn't it be possible for mods and admins to add tags to posts when editing posts settings, or to remove incorrect ones? It seems like something that mods should be able to modify in case the wrong tags are added to something, or there are posts with no tags that should have them.
