I totally agree with you Nelly! This is a must do! I've also been seeing this trend, and the most scary thing is that if one of our admins goes nuts and deletes everything, there's simply nothing we can do about it. Might as well delete the server when that happens.

I've seen some bots, though, that backups the server, but it's not the same as proposed by you. And they don't quite work as it should.

My server was raided and every person in it was renamed to the same thing. Really wish there was an undo button.

I would make it a toggleable option. That way moderators can still see the audit log to verify claims but can't mess around with others.

This would be a good feature but there is a bot called Xenox that does do that but it would be good to have in discord it self

Amazing idea, I've been in too many servers where an admin or moderator goes rogue and deletes half of the channels and spams roles. Most of the time, a new discord is made, or they take hours to fix it, only to have something be broken.

Audit logs help, but when it's to a gargantuan extent, logs begin to not be useful because the entire server is broken and going through all of those logs fixing each individual thing takes way too long.

This is a feature that I beg for. Servers can get raided and Discord can't help you get deleted stuff back. Heck, backing the server up would be good. I don't know it it's something that Discord is willing to implement for whatever reason.

Agreed! I accidentally deleted my rules channel once and had to rewrite it.

I think it's a good idea. However, it would cause many issues in different ways.

I have mixed opinions. I could see this as being good and bad. Possibly abusive

Had a server get nuked by an admin after a breakup with the server owner. Given the emotions involved(esp. now), Discord can understandably not be the thing that comes to mind first.

I am personally a huge fan of how discord treats user's data (as far as I can tell) deleting messages completely instead of just hiding them in some database somewhere, but the consequences are rather large when it comes to auditing (checking the contents of a message a moderator deleted, etc).

They have the log, but its bare-bones, and there is not a revert option.

Please add a revert button to the audit log (or something similar). If only for 24 hours.
