I honestly have no topic for this, because it's all across the board.
Some may seem stupid, but will benefit Discord in the long run.
1) Make a Discord option for schools, allowing students to communicate to one another in a locked chat.
Basically, teachers can create their own Discord server, and allow their students to be able to join it.
Students can not join Discord servers created by non-staff.
Students can create their own Discord server, but can not invite anyone outside of the campus.
Teachers have access to most of Discord, but can not talk with anyone outside of the campus using the account.
DMing is allowed, but the messages sent between students/teachers can not be deleted for safety reasons.
2) Make sub-categories a thing!
Lets say... I had a huge category for,,, Titanfall 2, and I want to have one section for spoilers, how would I be able to put that? Sub-categories! I'll send a link on what a sub-category should look like, kinda.
It's the general concept.
3) SPEAKING OF SPOILERS!
How about you add an option to have a channel be consider 'spoilers' for a game, warning the user like an NSFW channel when they click on it.
"Are you alright with seeing spoilers for a game you may or may not have finished?"
No sends you back to the previous channel, btw.
4) The life of the party, custom Discord themes!
The thing is, Discord is bland with these two themes, dubbed by everyone on the internet.
'The way to go'.
Betterdiscord- yes I know it's against the TOS and you all don't like it- allows custom themes, so the user can have that little bit of client-side customization they like.
Note 'client-side'. Anyways, can y'all try to implement custom themes for us to be able to enjoy? It's not that hard to do, just allow us to edit Discord client-side.
Client-side is basically what the user- and only the user- sees, like Discord themes!
Those are my ideas.
