Custom emojis in Voice & Chat channels names

Hello!
It's very cool to use emojis in channel names but it would be better if you were able to use your custom emoji (the UPLOADED ones) in channel names (Voice and Chat).
For example:
If you have voice channels for games;
:some-game-emoji: Game (Chat)
:minecraft-emoji: Minecraft (Voice)
EDIT: That's not possible yet on Discord. You can use "Smiley" emoji for example but you can't use CUSTOM EMOJIS (Uploaded ones)

You are not wrong, but we are talking about CUSTOM emoji's in the channel name, it's like you haven't even read the title or the thread.
We want the ability to put CUSTOM emoji's in the channel name, not poop emojis. Ok?

You are able to do that with mobile or for mac, you can bring out the emoji keyboard, but yeah. This sounds easier.

Perhaps implementing this feature in the same way that 'Custom Status' is now available.
E.g., having that emoji selection and dropdown when going into channel settings (next to the channel name edit box)EDIT: Having this for usernames and/or roles too would be great.

Seriously is it that hard adding support for this? We want custom emojis in channel names so we can pimp that channel menu, my guild discord has a lot of channels and i would really like if i could add custom graphics which references content of those channels

aw, how disappointing. This request has been out there for 2 years but never implemented.

Can we please have this for usernames/nicknames as well? Does anyone know who we could try to contact to see if this is something that is even possible? Because from the users' end it seems like it would be super easy to implement, but maybe there is something we are missing. Thanks!

I have been following this thread for two years, still hoping they would add it. It seems like it should be a somewhat easy thing to implement since there are similar functions already. . NNot holding my breath though, see you in another year or two.

We would love this as well for the multiple channels we have.
The ability to use Custom Emojis that have been uploaded for Channel and Category titles would be great!
