Simulating a server for feature testing
Now I know this may sound like an awful lot like one or two post I've seen flying about like "testing as another role" or "make it so we can see things as an user", that is not exactly what the subject of this post is. Sorry if someone posted this already but all I've seen doesn't seem like a fit topic to me.
What I'd like to see in discord, and something that is awfully more important now that server boosts have been introduced, is the ability to create a one-user and maybe feature/time limited server created only for feature testing. (So it doesn't take useless server resources)
Anything from developers, embed creators, banner designers, icon designers and more should be covered.
See, the user case scenario for me is that I've opened up my image editor like 5 minutes ago, because one of the servers I'm in, just recieved enough boosts for banners, thing is, since it's a 10 users limited feature, I can't create this on my own just to check how it will render on other's people screens.
So I'm pretty much doing a blind throw here, because I can't test things that I have no access to and I'm not a Discord Partner so I can't create a server with banners.
Maybe another thing could be that you could stress test things like vocal chats, text chats and other various management issues that cannot be tested without an user base? Like, the ability emulate users could be a subject of improvement aswell.
Anyway, this could be useful, so please make it happen, I need this for so many other things.

This is a late bump but I would like to express interest in this as well.
As of late, I have been writing an implementation for a bot API on my own. I need a way to test changing certain aspects of a server that are locked behind Nitro Boost limitations. Adding the ability to create a unit testing server with full features, but limited to my own apps + me in terms of members, would resolve the major roadblocks I and a number of others (such as OP) have run into regarding server customization.
I do not care about emoji limit increases for these test servers, nor do I care about heightened voice channel data limits - these are useless to the apparent image of the server, which is my main point of interest.
