Have Discord open the Spotify application when clicking a Spotify link

I notice that when I click on a Spotify link sent in chat that it has to open the browser in order to open it in the Spotify windows application. I was wondering if it would be possible to have Discord directly open the Spotify software (if it's installed in the system) upon clicking a Spotify shared link to a song.
