An option to view previous versions of an edited message

And an option to disable this if the user wants more privacy

  +1 but without the "disable" option. I feel like this feature would cause people to be more open and honest about what they say. Maybe add an exception for bots, because they update their messages a lot, but other than that, I think it should be a blanket transparency rule.

  "Oh, but there are moderation bots for that!" Well yes, but not all servers will have moderation bots, and most of those won't make their logs visible to the public (for obvious reasons).

  I know this probably isn't going to be added, but one can hope.
