Forced server ownership transfer
Our server’s owner got hacked and we need to transfer ownership from their old account to their new one, but we can’t because we’d need access to their account. In cases like this, there needs to be a way to forcefully transfer the ownership. Perhaps if more than half of the admins vote to do so.
P.S. If someone could help us that would be greatly appreciated

Skara Troll no. its not that easy to copy over months of chat history, memes, bot stuff that's per server, message history, and members that are never online.

I can't log into my discord account and I had 2 servers one with 1.7k and another with 500. I meet every single requirement apart from not being active for one month, its only been 2 days

That’s the problem, we don’t have more than 100 members. But we meet every other requirement. Which is why there needs to be a way to do this on our own

I'm trying to get back ownership of a server I owned. I was the server owner, but then I transferred ownership, and left Discord for a while, came back, and the server owner left. I don't have Admin or Moderator, but I was the one who originally created the Discord server. Does this mean I'll never be allowed to get Owner ever again?

Discord had banned my old account and never explained to me why or for what. All they ever said was "we have reviewed your ticket and found the reasons to be legitimate and will not be further discussed." I found out later that it was reported i had "posted material meant to shock or offend others" and i could never dispute it. My admins for my small time YT/Twitch community server want to gain ownership of the server because of the community, but discord support told us that "If the previous owner was banned, then support may not transfer ownership regardless." so yeah... turns out that they very much have hidden conditions, and you can apparently lose your account for no reason at all, at any time. very interesting indeed. A lot of our members pledge nitro to the server, but will likely be discontinuing their subscriptions due to the disregard for their business sadly.

3. The previous server owner has not accessed their account for at least a month, and

the_blue_skye exactly. I'm thinking of starting over ig. I have a template but i'll just have to redo every bot command and all that stuff. As of members, I'll get all my friends in the new server and find new members ig. Or I can just start fresh but i like my server so I'll just use the template smh

Our server owner got banned from discord, and the server is under 100 people and not in favor of going public. but the server meets the other requirements.

I had a discord server but my old (unverified) account got lost, and there is no way to log back on, so i really want to get my ownership back, and for the server to not belong to an account that will never come back online. Also, I don't wanna make it public and it will be IMPOSSIBLE to get 100 people on the server.

X4X5 im in the same boat but in my case the person i trusted the server to refuses to return it to my control. so all the time I took to build the my server is basically wasted.

DarkStar_Khaleesi the same thing happened to me im trying to steal my server back from them it sucks they deleted everything except the server its self and they are messing with it

Emily Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case, after Discord made me wait a month they refused the condition of our server Sayonara, our owner had disappeared after a few months we have 7k members, I was one of two admins and Discord said we couldn't do anything and refused to give me a reason why.As far as I can tell Discord has a few more secret conditions.

you cant disable your account when you own servers lol unless you get banned from discord

If you truly own a discord then you shouldve had a backup account setup as admin with full privileges, backup rescue code, 2Fa required for every member therefore no hackers avail, and yes backup your server. So many ways around this. Now if you partnered with someone on a discord and they bailed probably a good chance you still wont get it and they will nuke it on you. Let this all be a lesson to everyone. Never trust anyone, build, backup, and of all things have a securities bot setup and only allow yourself access to its dashboard with both of your accounts. Setup this way you will always prevail. Be smart

At less than 100 people it shouldn't be to hard to get everyone to join a new server
