Blocking is Overpowered
It really is. Blocking really allows you to get complete control over what happens in DMs. If I block someone for whatever reason, then I prevent the other user from saying anything, even when it’s important, or whatever, while I can easily unblock them just to throw a message in and revoici them. People shouldn’t be allowed to used blocking at their advantage, but rather as a LAST RESORT, like if someone insults them, threatens them, tries to scam them, or even hack their account. It should only be used in such serious cases, not just by people who want to take a break or just who get angry at you and then abuse the feature.
* My idea is simple: Reduce the advantages blocking offers. First, when UNblocking someone, there should be a period of several hours (maybe an entire day) during which you can’t block that person back again unless really needed, but that would require a report. Then, a blocked user shouldn’t be unable to send DMs—they should only lose ability at notifying the blocker. It would make it much fairer, I think.

That is **literally** the entire point of blocking people! 14 -
What we're getting from this is that you've been blocked and didn't want the 'conversation' to end. Seems kind of creepy my dude. If they blocked you, take the hint. Block 'em back if they're using it to dictate messages. Simple as that. Otherwise the feature is simple and effective.
