I think live chat for the new feature "Stream" will be good idea

I second this. I know it's in Beta and that many have pre-existing "Voice Chat" channels where you can watch stream and type in the channel, but it's kind of clunky in it's current iteration.

I third this. Would _love_ to be able to type messages only relevant to the stream vs in a random channel

yes please. My discord have a lot of streams but it's a hassle to have to go to another channel to use the chat. And it's very annoying for people to chat too, because they have to reduce the stream to go to another channel to chat to the streamer. I fear people stop streaming on my discord because of this.
