Nitro Boosting

So I paid for a yearly sub for nitro and for some reason when I go to buy boosts for a server it forces me to buy a full year of boosts! I only wish to add a few monthly boosts here and there to other servers. I don't understand why there is no option to boost monthly. If anyone here who has bought nitro for the year can tell me if there is a way to add only one monthly boost PLEASE let me know. very frustrating ....
