French localization - informal "you"

I am a user of the French version of Discord (and a translator, actually), and I just wanted to bring up that the choice to translate "you" with "tu", which is very informal in French, sounds really odd and makes me feel like I'm a 12-year-old. I understand you want the tone to be friendly and approachable, but unless the app was designed for children exclusively, this was a mistaken choice by your localization service provider. The app's credibility would greatly improve by switching to "vous", which is what all companies choose when addressing their customers, and in most digital interfaces in a variety of contexts - even in video games, unless they are specifically children's games.
