Cannot Right-Click to Copy Video Links
In the new update, the right-click menu option to copy a video's URL is absent. This functionality makes it much easier for me to share a video in multiple channels without needing to re-upload, as I do not have a strong upload connection. If you would please consider adding this function back, it would be much appreciated.

The menu appears for me once I left click on the video box to select it.
At least for You Tube videos.
Then I can right click and select options like the one you want.
But why do I need to click it first?

I'm referring to videos directly uploaded to Discord. The option to copy the video link is missing.

I have the same issue. When you access the copied video link, it takes you back to the server or group chat you copied it from instead of loading that video file, which is stupid

you have to right-click the download button to copy the link now, obviously another feature nobody asked for, but it's still better than nothing

for me, it works for some videos, but I can't get the link for my own videos. don't know why

It's important to note that the lack of this feature means more load on discord's servers which means money wasted because people download and reupload content amongst discord user servers.

found a solution for firefox.
you hold the download button, then drag it to a new tab
firefox will direct you to the link of the video and ask if you want to save it + give you the url to the video
and there you can just copy & paste the link to wherever

Indeed, but you get a direct download URL, it doesn't work to share the video embedded in another server and save Discord storage space, and internet traffic, and energy.

if you click the download button at the top right of the video and drag it to the tab which is in use's address bar it gives you the link in which you can copy and paste.

When I do that, it just automatically downloads the video. This could be just because I'm using an apple computer or google chrome, but dragging the download button doesn't work for me.

Dragging the download button doesn't work for me either. I tried Microsoft edge nd the problem seemed to have disappeared. I think i may begin using it as my default browser

Open notepad and drag the download button to it to get the link

You can copy and paste the URL by clicking the download icon in the upper right corner of the movie and dragging it to the active tab's address bar.
