I am trying to get back on my discord account, it says please verify be phone...WELL GUESS WHAT, I DONT HAVE A PHONE. NOW I CAN't GET BACK IN. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED

The same problem happened to me
I read about it and contacted support but they did nothing to help me and they said that the system triggered it and there was nothing they could do. Well first of all, they could clearly remove it. Discord just has a fucked up verification system and is taking it out on people like us who don't have phones to verify, but friends to go to.

Btw an easier way to get a response from discord is by going to the top and clicking submit a request. They get to you quickly, but its just them saying that they can't do anything about it. Discord won't remove it, they don't care about us 50 people who are locked out of our accounts, compared to the millions on discord

i had the same problem and freaked out- i accidentally used my phone number on my second account, so i couldn't get back to my main account cuz of that dumb "verify phone number" problem. I solved it by using my parents' numbers and verify it. This is honestly stupid and i hope it gets removed. This "verify phone" doesn't secure anything. A hacker can just use their own phone number to verify the account and stuff like that- PLEASE REMOVE IT.

Hello, I have received the same issue recently. I found a solution that does not require you to use your REAL number. You can simply use a VoIP, or a Burner. There are a lot of free options out there, please keep in mind that UK numbers are the only VoIPs that seem to work.

I don't have a phone to verify, and I can't get back into my account, I've literally got a server and everything, I'd just like my account back. Discord needs to fix this because not everyone's got a number. Does anyone know how I could get back into my account?

Yeah, I just got the same issue today, it occurred first on this account and then I moved on after emailing discord, I went to my other account and now it wants it on there, I literally just lost all my friends and servers and all that good stuff, this really needs to be fixed, My phone number was disabled a few months ago so I dont have access to that, but yeah all the best to everyone else with this issue hopefully it gets fixed soon.

got the same problem, i used my grandma's phone since i don't have one and i got in, but when i removed it i got locked out again and i can't use that number again since it's invalid

That's pretty messed up discord, heck I even linked the support ticket about Phone verification and they haven't gotten back to me at all.

Here's how I managed to retrieve back my log in.
1. Try to log in to Discord over the Web version.
2. Enter Email and random password.
3. Mention that you forgot your password.
4. It'll now be sent to your email a link to take control over your lost account.
Hope this help and if you got a phone, don't forget to enter your phone number!

guess who's having this problem for a second time, i tried removing the phone number which is years old to add my new one and once again discord didn't like that
