Gradient Role Color Options

Basically, there is two suggestions I have, one being where a role itself can be gradient-ed like this:

The other idea I have is gradient of multiple roles. Basically, if you want to make a bunch of roles a gradient of a color like this:

These aren't the greatest examples, but this is what I mean.
