one time notifications

# The Problem
- ask a question on a public server (e.g. #troubleshooting channel on a server dedicated to some technology)
- server notification settings are set to "@mentions only" (notifications for everything on a public server with thousands of users would be madness)
- since i don't get notifications for every single message i manually have to check if someone has answered my question periodically which is annoying

I cannot stress how often I run into this problem

# Possible workarounds

- tell people "please @mention me on reply" -> for some reason they rarely ever do that
- temporarily change notification settings -> super annoying especially since you have to turn it back afterwards

# The solution: One-time notifications

- put a bubble (or however you want to visualize it) on a channel
- next message in that channel pops the bubble (aka gives a notification)
- all further messages don't since the bubble is gone
