Middle-mouse button scrolling & pasting broken in Firefox

There's a feature in Firefox most people probably don't know of, but I use it all the time. It can be enabled via about:preferences -> General -> Browsing -> Use autoscrolling. It allows you to scroll around really fast by pressing the MMB. (I recently broke one scroll wheel because of it)

Anyways, this combined with the MMB clipboard pasting in Linux/Xorg (the primary clipboard besides Ctrl-C Ctrl-V and so on) doesn't work right in Discord. What happens is the scrolling starts and works just fine, but upon releasing stuff is also pasted in the chat text field which I certainly did not intend to do.

In other places usually only one of these happens. Either I start scrolling, or I paste if it's a text field, not both. (Now that I wrote that I realized this text field here does both too) It's of course important for typing to work even if the chat text field isn't active, but ideally I'd want scrolling to work in the messages area, and MMB-pasting to work in the writing area.

Not sure how this could be fixed, but I could certainly look into it if necessary.
