Animated particle effects over text

I've thought about this for a long time, and today happens to be the day to share one of many ideas I have for discord! This one being focused on creating more unique roles, that draw attention to make people feel special. These being "animated particle effects" That can be seen when hovering a mouse over someone's text/name in a server (just like how animated profile pictures work).

These unique animated effects could be used for congratulating community members for various things. Some could be for nitro boosters, and for people who may had won contest in a community. These particle effects shouldn't effect a member's name tag visibility. Something similar to this idea was already done on enjin.com, and it can be a very rewarding feature. It would be even greater if there was a few different versions of particles to choose from. At the max of customization.. being able to pick the color theme of the particle. Or at least a choice of some.

Animated profile pictures are gifs wich doesn't take alot more storage than images

Unfortunatly havings gifs replacing images is alot more storage than you think

So discord can't use that idea because of the memory abuse

I suggedst you to create/ask someone to have a bot that'll change the role name every x secoondes. It does take a lot of cpu so having all discord using it is a pretty bad idea ^^' But i liked your presentation ! Keep it up
