Can't use avatar as GiF

Hello, there I'm Gameshell and I'm a discord user since 2017 or so.

I just got my first and free nitro from epic games.. after some days I cancelled it because my friends said it was good to do say... a month later which is today I accidentally changed my avatar to a picture now whenever I try to change it to a gif it won't work.. while also selecting a Gif for my avatar the gif does not show up in the file selection

    Hello there, Gameshell the Great! 

    Unfortunately, if you do not have Nitro still within Discord, you may not be able to change your avatar from a picture to a GIF due to the subscription being cancelled, regardless of it being from Epic Games. If you have got Nitro, please let me know and I will try to help you out.

    you just lost your 3 free months! Its important to read the fine print in case of subscriptions and it said that your free nitro gets cancelled as soon as you cancel the contract. what you should have done is cancel it a day before it would have charged you for the next month.
