Can we add functionality to spoiler thread previews?

I run a book/TV discussion server, and it looks like the new Threads feature would be great for a temporary place to discuss new books/episodes as they release. The only thing is... Even when the original message of a thread is spoilered, the preview of the most recent message isn't. If we could turn off (or spoiler tag) those previews, this would have a lot more use cases!

  Great minds think alike! Go check this out, someone else had the same idea but seems to have a tad bit more traction going at the moment.
