I think the profil banner by itself is quite "hidden" I mean, peoples must click on the profil to see it... 

Why not, at least for PM, for the top bar (with the @name & status), make it possible to have a small part of that banner ?

Or even on the background of the usernames on the left part, as a "user tag background" ?

And for yourself, behind your username on bottom left.

It'd add some visible customization to Discord.
