    This should be a basic feature of Discord.  Not something that you have to pay $5 a month for.

    There are many gay/trans people who are not out to their friends list, and end up using alternate accounts for privacy reasons which is hugely inconvenient. Being able to set an avatar and name is not something that should be at a premium in the first place. I myself have my own reasons for needing something like this but it's much more niche.
