Crypto and NFTs are a mistake

Y'know, I initially wasn't planning on getting Nitro, but it wasn't outside the realm of possibility for me - that is, until you started pushing crypto. Now I'm definitely not getting Nitro. It's like you don't even care that crypto uses such whopping amounts of energy. Do you know how that makes me, a young adult with aspirations not even graduated from high school yet, feel? I don't want to grow up and live in a world where the climate is inhospitable and volatile all because of the hubris of mankind wasting a ton of energy and polluting nature without a care in the world. Look, I like using Discord. It's convenient, and I like being able to chat with friends and acquaintances. But I cannot just stand by as more and more businesses and entities get sucked into crypto. Do you care at all, or are you just as soulless as the rest of them?

    Commenting to help boost this. Discord needs to know that this is not what the userbase wants. To everyone else reading, cancel your Nitro subscription if you have one. Do NOT give your money to a company who is actively choosing to destroy our planet.
