Canceling subscription - NFT is a no go

Instead of just directing it to the internal feedback, I choose to do so publicly.

I have been subscribed to Discord Nitro Yearly since 2017; WILLINGLY to a platform that I've connected to with people from a vast range of interests, on the premise that its to support a platform that has improved time and time again with the myriad of updates in that time.

However, I do not want to support a service that prioritizes the gains of offers space for non-fungible currencies like ethereum and bitcoin. There is already well documented black marker dealings, exploitative practices, pyramid schemes, outright scams, and money laundering that have enabled the growth of such aspects of technology. In a world that is ever closing in to the brink of environmental crisis, already with severe weather battering north and southern hemispheres alike, it is morally unconscionable to support a platform that puts THAT to the side for a piece of the techbro multi-level marketing schemes.

I am not shocked that it happened, just immensely disappointed that it has chosen the side enabling and benefiting from exploitative practices.
