Against NFT/Crypto implementation

I've seen a few things going around (one, most notably, from the Discord CEO themselves) that hints that Discord may be trying to approach the current Cryptocurrency wave. DON'T DO THIS! Crypto is HIGHLY unregulated and INCREDIBLY prone to scammers trying to make money by selling and buying things within the market. NFTs are somehow even worse! People will pretend to buy them for a ridiculous amount of money, and are usually paid for doing so by the original 'artist' of the NFT itself (artist being a lose term, because a lot of NFTs are actually resulted from stolen art), and after that it seems like the NFT is worth far more than it ever actually was--and they can sell it off to someone who doesn't know any better. This is, obviously, incredibly dangerous as a market, and not even scratching the surface of the environmental concerns that NFTs and Cryptocurrency bring. Needless to say, if I find you trying to advertise anything of this sort (or, frankly, if I see anything besides an apology within the month), I will be cancelling my Nitro subscription and looking to find other means of communication with the people I know. This is unacceptable.
