Discord's rampant greed will be the death of it. You hardly need yet another person to link you guys the facts about how bad crypto is for the environment or how it has caused a run on silicone/microchips, thus devastating the global market all while destroying the environment. Discord is supposed to stand with the little guys, right? Isn't Discord always bragging  about starting small? Well, you become no better than the billionaires with blood on their hands by supporting  NFT/crypto. Read the room, guys - no one wants this, and if Facebook can be backed into a corner by public disgust, why can't you? 

Careful, or Discord will meet Skype's fate, and be little  more than a once fond internet memory.

    Thank ya, I'm passionate about finally having a safe, reliable place for my gaming friends and I to gather, but multiple programs have come before - there will always be another to take Discord's place, if it comes down to it. If Ventrilo, Mumble, Skype and TeamSpeak can all be replaced, so can Discord.
