sad lol (cancelling nitro because of NFTs)

Got nitro a few days ago for the first time so that i can share my screen for movie night with a friend. Even beyond streaming quality, I ended up really liking it and was ready to continue the sub for longer. But since Jason Citron just randomly tweeted about integrating NFT shit onto discord, i cancelled it right there and then. Incredibly disapointing. Discord has always been very receptive to their customers and have a stronger moral backbone than most companies. It's a shame to see them stoop this low. With all the information on NFTs/blockchain out there, there is no excuse to not know wasteful the whole scheme is. But so long as little nerd twitterheads get their ugly weed shirt wearing chimpanzee picture it's fine, right? I'd be happy to resubscribe if they rescind the whole NFT thing, but im not going to until then.
