Improved Scheduled Events
The Scheduled Events feature is great. I love it. I also see room for improvement to make it much more useful.
Allow for tagging users or roles within the event text, so when the link is posted, the event listing will ping those users/roles. Sometimes you want to draw the attention of specific people to an event.
Give us the ability to adjust the size of the event description preview. Users shouldn't necessarily have to click on the event to see the entire description. Discord may have grown beyond a gaming platform, but that's what it was originally for, and events are perfect for planning things like dungeon runs. Five lines would be great for displaying five users going on such a run...but events only display four lines.
I believe this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I'll add that being able to schedule recurring events would be a huge improvement as well.

First and most importantly, give us more than just Interested, such as Will Attend, Maybe Attend.

All of this, plus the ability for attendees to set extra reminder times. Like a reminder notification 24 hours before, or 1 hour before, or 10 minutes before, in addition to a reminder when the event starts.

I would love to see the option to have an automatic temporary channel for each event that gets archived after it happens, for people to ask questions about the event, help plan, etc. Thinking of using this feature as a replacement for FB events, but am missing having an easy comments/discussion tied to the event.
Also, some sort of calendar view of upcoming events should definitely be on the roadmap, ideally one that shows you all your events across different servers.3 -
Allowing the option for recurring events on a weekly/monthly/annual basis is critical.
I also like @smakain's idea of an event calendar, perhaps one with multiple tabs: one tab for each individual server, as well as an overview for all servers you're apart of. (Maybe this could make way for server member birthday reminders also?)

Two simple things that would make this feature much more useful
- allow setting a time zone. It is nerve wracking to schedule an international event without getting to be explicit about the time. I have to cross my fingers and hope you don't mess it up.
- Use the event title & description in social media cards. Right now when you share an event link it'll show up as "Check out the xxx community on Discord". If it had the event title and time then we could actually use this link to advertise the event e.g. on Twitter.3 -
Maybe a bot can help with this...
