Can't clear unread message indicator

The Discord icon on my taskbar shows a dot indicating that I have an unread message. I've gone through all my servers and marked as read, muted them, and I even went as far as leaving more than half of my servers but still, the icon is still there. Usually when there is an unread message, there should be a white dot on the side of the corresponding server to also indicate the unread message is from that server, but there is no such indicator. It's stuck to my account since I have tried deleting local files, reinstalling, and even checking on the browser version of Discord (still seeing the unread message dot). I'm aware that you can simply disable the Unread Message Badge in the settings, but I want to keep them on since they are useful to seeing when I actually have an unread message, but as of right now, that feature is pretty much unusable at the moment. Any way to fix this would be great.
