discord nitro not working

I recently bought discord nitro for me and one of my friends, and once i bought it, i was looking to change my profile banner, it keeps saying i dont have discord nitro. same thing with my friend too, discord please fix this major bug. thank you

  You need to have the $10 to change your banner. It can't be the $5 one.

  Hey, can you look at your Discord Profile and see if there is the Discord Nitro badge?

  If it is there, you may try to restart your client (CTRL+R on Desktop App or Browser).

  If it is not there, you should try to see in your Subscriptions tab and check if there is a Nitro credit you need to use.
