Reintroduce Nitro Classic as a middle option.
Nitro Classic is a thing of the past, I was a subscriber of it and now I have to choose between Nitro Basic ($2.99) and Nitro ($9.99).
However, Nitro Basic is a very much condensed version, only offering 20MB of upload for a file, compared to 50MB with Nitro Classic.
You also cannot use animated avatars for Nitro Basic. This was a very shameful decision in my book, since Nitro Classic was $4.99 and you cannot purchase it anymore, you need to spend $9.99 per month to get this feature back.
It baffles me why they didn't just keep Nitro Classic as a middle option. No way I'm paying double just for an animated avatar, very disappointing!

Exactly the same to me. Nitro Basic's features are too limited, and I find Nitro too expensive and it has too many features I'm not interested in. Nitro classic is the perfect middle ground.
If they really completely remove Discord Nitro Classic and force me to move to something else, I will cancel my subscription.6 -
Totally agree. The things I'd even want from nitro are emotes, animated avatar, file size and streaming quality. Classic had all these things, and basic removed half of them, and added useless stuff like stickers that I only know one person who even uses them.
I would never pay $2.99 USD for only emotes and bigger file sizes(which I can work around with hosting sites myself anyway..)

I totally agree with you, I had to purchase 9.99$ nitro just because I lost nitro features with basic nitro.

I'm a current subscriber to Nitro Basic, as well as a former full Nitro customer. A big hole in the experience of switching plans was the lack of some "nice" features like animated profiles and boost discount.
Introducing Nitro Classic again might be a solution, maybe under a different name. If this isn't that feasible, maybe swapping video backgrounds for another feature might be great because a lot of people I've talked to don't use them.

I only buy Nitro bc of gif pfp, banner and custom tags. idk what they were thinking when they removed those on Nitro Basic.
idk if Nitro Basic should be called a basic "Nitro" bc it doesn't feel like that at all. It still feels like a free user feature. wtf are they thinking
