if you go to settings > text and images > disable "preview emojis as you type" itll stop crashing, as a temporary fix, but yeah i have the same issue

there are already plenty of bots that can do this, though I agree that it would be nice as a built-in feature (especially considering sometimes a bot might be down)

I think this is a good idea, also because some servers have rules on what is allowed in a profile picture and what isn't

role ping cooldown
please add the option to set a cooldown on how many times a role can be pinged in a certain amount of time, perhaps something similar to the slowmode slider would work

this still goes for the newest UI, now it's not typing that's nauseating, it's opening the channel drawer and member list that's nauseating
