Do not make this a toggle feature, that defeats the whole purpose of this feature, to know if someone is ignoring you or not, this should work in DMS and group chats.

In Direct Messages have something like a "read" from the other person, so you know if your friend just decided to ignore you, AKA a notification under your message stating if the other user or which group members have read the message, and the time.
On the iPhone in iMessage, when you text someone who has an iPhone (I think) When you send a message, and they "see" or "read" it. It'll say something like "Read 10:51PM" Example "Hey bro you wanna...
