Why on earth is the thread split view ONLY available when clicking a sublink within the original comment?
I'll level with you - threads are hilariously unpleasant to use, such that it's actually impressive considering the clear effort and thought that went into them.
Imagine my confusion when I discover that there is a split-view option available to threads, one that has MEMORY upon changing channel (meaning the split-view is retained for that channel). You'll have to forgive me my surprise, this feature has been rendered into utter obsolescence by its inability to render usefulness to any of the discords I'm in on any of my accounts.
Now imagine my utter, total loss of grasp on reality when it becomes obvious that you can only return to this HIGHLY practical split view by:
1. Remembering the source comment
2. Somehow paging through perhaps THOUSANDS of messages to locate this (a legit thanks to the search team, search team oh my god)
3. clicking a blue word
4. By god don't accidentally leave or full screen it
You can't manually open any thread like this? I can't open the 'threads' button that only contextually appears for obscure reasons known only to the warlocks of your deepest circles? People HAVE to post in threads to have them appear under a channel?
I'm going insane, more insane actually than when I repeatedly set a gif avatar, observed it working and then stop working for two months, only to realise that you'd taken the feature away from basic turbo.
I am losing my MIND.
Thanks!
EDIT: Apologies that this post is a scattered, incomplete mess but hey - we'll fix it in prod.
