Adding and editing alternative texts *after* uploading images (Accessibility)

A simple but very important improvement would be to allow alternative text to be added to images afterwards. So far, sighted users can add alternate text to images for blind users, for example. These alternative texts can then be output by assistive software such as screen readers, so that blind users can also learn what is depicted in images. Unfortunately, so far it is only possible to add the alternative text directly when uploading. I hear again and again from users that they would like to provide an image description, but forgot to do so when uploading the image and now cannot do so afterwards. So I would be very happy if you add a corresponding function to edit and add alternative text afterwards. That would make a real difference for many people.
