Possums are amazing and cute. I believe that a possum emote would be a small, yet nice addition.

What's are you talking about. I can't understand. Are you trying to say they should add an real animal possum has moji list? Because they can't. Discord have to follow emoji guide for bette experience. If you want possum emoji, you should request to the owner of their emoji package that mean to be Tweetmoji by Twitter himself. Seem Twitter are now owned by Elon Musk and replaced Twitter Inc. By X inc.
