On February 6th, 2023, during the major earthquake in Turkey, one of our friends passed away. We have found that they have two accounts, neither of which have been active since that date. We kindly request that these accounts be closed.

  There is 0 chance discord just deletes accounts, because some random asked for it. If they did, they would open the door to people asking to delete the accounts of persons they do not like...

  Leading on from what everyone else said, to have even a chance you will need their death certificate or some sort of evidence - otherwise people could just claim the deaths of random other people.

  For information, on Discord, accounts that have not been used for 2 years or more may be scheduled to be deleted. If the account of your passed friend nears the 2 years mark he will get an email or text message warning that his account is scheduled to be deleted. If he don't do anything (he's passed so logically he will don't log in), the account will be deleted.
