Posting stories, just like on Instagram or Whastapp

A feature like on WhatsApp or Instagram, where you can post pictures or videos on your profile as a story, would be cool. The post would only be viewable temporarily, for 24 hours. This would encourage users to spend more time on Discord and you could network and present yourself better in the community.

    I use Discord to talk to people I already know. Need to network? LinkedIn. Need to make other people feel like they're missing out on Your Life? Go use one of the hundreds of other apps with stories. Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Twitter, literally everything else.

    Discord is already taking steps to make itself like every other social media platform. Why would you want to only spend all your time in one place?

    To be honest, I don't quite understand what's wrong with it? If Discord is already taking steps in that direction, then yes, it shows that they want to move in that direction - Then they should at least do that properly. And people didn't like this feature back when all the apps were copying it. But now everyone is using it

    I find it funny how no one who has anything against this idea has a rational argument. You just say that it attracts degenerates? That says quite a bit about the Discord community, it seems like the stereotype about Discord mods is true 😂
